Skip Starbucks—we think this homemade PSL tastes better

There's a familiar chill starting to creep into the evenings and early mornings. The days are getting shorter. The kids are back in school. All these signs add up to one conclusion: It's Pumpkin Spice Latte time.

While that familiar blend of sugar, caffeine, and seasonal spices is returning to coffee shops everywhere, you and I both know there's going to be an extra long line. And at five bucks a pop, getting your Starbucks fix ain't cheap. The solution? Watch our video and make your own spiced latte at home. No, really, it's easy.

We checked out a bunch of DIY PSL recipes and settled on one from Martha Stewart, largely because it's easy to make and doesn't even require any pumpkin. As it turns out, it's delicious. If you don't have time to froth your own milk, there are also a bunch of K-Cup options available.

So grab your favorite fall sweater. Even if the leaves aren't changing outside your window, it's still PSL time in your kitchen.
