Too much priceless jewelry lying around the house? We've all been there. Luckily Empire Safe has a relatively affordable solution to your inconvenient abundance of physical property and wealth. For just $10,000—well, at least $10,000—you can purchase one of their famously secure jewelry safes.

These things are serious business. From its main showroom on East 39th Street in New York City, Empire Safe distributes to big names like Tiffany & Co., Bulgari, DeBeers... and you, if you're in the market.

Jewelry drawers are protected on all sides by at least a full inch of solid steel. Lower-end safes might have only a quarter-inch of steel and, according to Empire Safe Security Consultant Bruce Schoen, weak safes like that can be compromised using only basic tools.

Potential burglars will have to put in a lot more effort to steal valuables from an Empire Safe. And that's a shame for them, since they won't get to see the gorgeously appointed interior. Your jewelry will be resting comfortably inside pillowed drawers made of exotic wood that's been lacquered to a gorgeous finish.

For certain models designed to store expensive watches, you'll find mounts that rotate a half-turn or so every couple minutes, thus winding any automatic watches stored within.

Empire Safe's peace of mind starts at $10,000 but the sky's the limit. Some models on display clock in at over $30,000, and they come in all shapes, sizes, and colors... including pink!
