The world’s first triple oven is for serious cooks

Just in time for Thanksgiving, a new wall oven lets home chefs bake three separate items at once.

When Samsung’s latest wall oven hits stores in November, it will be the first to fit three cooking zones in the space of a traditional double oven. That third zone is thanks to the Flex Duo system—a heat-proof barrier that slides into one oven, dividing it into two.

In other words, with the Flex Duo divider installed, you could roast a turkey, bake a pie, and heat up that green been casserole your second cousin brought—all in an appliance that fits a traditional double oven cutout.

The Flex Duo system is already available on select Samsung ranges—and our testers were impressed with its performance. This marks the first time it will be available on a wall oven.

Users can set different temperatures above and below the Flex Duo divider, or they can take it out and use the full oven to fit a large item—or, in this case, two large items.

Samsung's new 30-inch electric wall ovens come in traditional and black stainless finishes, and also feature steam baking. Each oven has a 5.1 cu. ft. total capacity, and the top-of-the-line model is expected to sell for $3,999.
